3rd Gen Wagon!!!
Ok, so the title is a bit misleading. It's not a 3rd gen Prelude that's been made into a wagon, but a 3rd gen Accord Aerodeck, but it's still a Honda, and it's still retro!
Picking it up later on today, and I can't wait to drive it the 2 1/2 hour journey home!
It's an absolute minter. 92'000 miles from new, full Honda service history with services usually every 5000 miles, had a respray by Honda about 8 or 9 years ago, always been garaged, and was owned by an old man for the first 22 years, and when he died, it was sold at auction where the current owner got it.
Got a lot of plans for the baby, but first is to go and get her!
The plans are:
- spray the bumpers satin black
- spray the roof gloss black
- tint all visible lights and reflectors black
- limo tint the windows
- drop the suspension 35mm
- fit some nice alloys to it
- dye the interior fabric black
- custom back box
Audio:
- JBL GTO 608C components in front doors
- JBL GTO 6537 3 way coaxials in rear
- JBL P12 12" sub in a custom built slot ported trunk build
- JBL GTO 1004 amp bridged to 3 channels to power the front speakers and the sub (rear speakers will remain powered from the stereo)
It'll be a lovely project to work on, and it's definitely going to be a great car to have Can't wait to drive it 2 hours home on Sunday!
