Front Strut bar install Empty Front Strut bar install

Post by Builds.The.Fire on Fri 24 Feb 2012, 3:54 am

So i have a Cusco front strut bar, never put on one of these things before, and I have a couple questions.

1. Do I need to know any torque specs on that strut bolts?

2. Is there any kinds of washers or something to prevent rubbing between the body of the car and the bracket? Just keeping wear down to a minimum in general....

Yes you should always use correct torque specs, especially on suspension components. I don't know them off the top of my head but they're in the free downloadable service manual.

I've never heard of anyone using any type of washers on them. Maybe try to find some nylon washers? Those might work.

remember to install with the car on the ground Wink

EDIT damn this is kinda old
