Re: The Red Headed Step Child
did work!
repinned the wiring harness for the HID's tonight and got my bixenon to work... only after remembering i forgot to plug the bixenon leads back in lol
low beams...
high beams!
(yes i know i still need to adjust my headlights)
got the passenger side rear off... i hate these things... even though that one was ok to pull off
then the drivers side rear came off... this one i hate with a PASSION, for some reason the bolt got really messed up and bent the actual fork deal that attached to the LCA and it was just causing me a headache so i pulled it all off... then threw it straight to the trash pile its ruined anyway.

Re: The Red Headed Step Child
i had hoped to have it on the ground last night, but... that didnt happen. the rear suspension is done though
just need to go pick up the front forks from being powdercoated black then the fronts can go on, and i can do the camber kit when 4 more self locking nuts come in actually... i could do it now and just replace the ones holding it to the body when the nuts get in.
I did get some rattle canning done though i sprayed the front bumper fog light slots black idk why but i just think it looks better black... gives it more character.

Re: The Red Headed Step Child
Yea my 92 didn't have a sun-roof. It was a sedan, but there are MILES more head liner in the hatch than my sedan had.
Re: The Red Headed Step Child
i took a panoramic picture of the headliner.. or tried to... and it looks SOOOOO long lol

Re: The Red Headed Step Child
yes sir, retro was completed tonight.
Waiting to hear back from TRS about their "new" version of the H4 harness... their new one is bad cause EVERY time we flip the low beams on it blows the highbeams fuse.
I spoke with shimmee on PP and he said its their diodes and some backwards wiring or something. so im gonna ask TRS if they can get me a new harness or if they have any of the old harnesses left over... or since i have the old harness out from my car maybe shimme can recreate one of those for some cash monies.
all in all this retro with their new setup stuff has been a big headache. But its nice its all finally finished other than the wiring.
next thing for the whoopty is the front end needs to get fixed from the crash it was in, but before that happens we are going to have the strut bar powdercoated, new rear lower control arms, and the seat slider/mount needs to get here. Once those are all done we are going to take it to get the front end fixed up. then hopefully the bumper will finally sit straight again.

ive done quite a bit lol No J swap... that would be too heavy for the track use im going to put this thing through lol
Hope you start soon, its ridiculous fun. Just make sure you can get OEM parts at employee pricing... if not these things can be a pain in the ass if you want to do OEM Replacements.
I honestly cant wait to take this thing to go pick up parts from the honda dealership my aunt works at... the guys there keep asking me when i am going to bring it in.

Mine will be a Craigslist/junkyard budget DD build centered around a stockish B18B1.
