kinda up in the air about grabbing a m2b4 trans while i can, or get the engine bay painted and done with. not to sure yet

Is it different? lol never heard of anyone going after the Euro pulley.

its really only good if you dont have power steering. it doesn't have the grooves for the power steering belt so its slightly lighter

Easy enough on this scale. Kind of surprised by how quickly it grew heh, but it's still at a point where this is a real enthusiast community. There isn't anyone here that doesn't have a passion for the car.

well today was kinda productive


found this tucked behind the fuel rail


stripped down ready to get all i need done to it done

got the engine on the stand finally


and got the balance shafts out

working on the balance shaft delete


block is tapped and plugged


plugs installed


and the nice engraved block off plate thingy...all done

waiting for the tow guy...

well after alot of work. being scared to death if it would look right b/c i've nvr done body work. having several ppl tell me they will hook me up with a painter and nvr did. i went to the guy whose repaired our explorer the few times i hit something lol. for $200 and for only taking 24hrs.....damn

got the manual tensioner kit on today. gotta order a spacer since i dont need the balance shaft tensioner thingy. also started on polishing the block

i think the engine is pretty much as good as i can get it. i think it came out pretty good. the tranny is difficult to do though. just gonna spray that to match the engine

esp engine mounts/traction bar are here! gold w/ red inserts...yum
