Oh im thinking about making hanging "chandelier" type things to light below where the tower covered. or do you think i should just make glass and replace all of the top tower part so that you can see below?

i know it will be lol i was going to use that nice section of spawn sand for it. get that then head up the tower and start replacing after i take out some of the forest off to the right of the tower for fuel

I don't know if you can use the sand from the spawn section. Might be a weird glitch but I tried mining some coal that was right there and after the block broke another popped right up in it's place. Never dropped the coal resource.

I have some spots in my cave like that though and I am near P10. It happens to me quite often so I think it may be because of lag.

yeah i know that at the tip top area it doesnt depreciate, but a little farther away it drops the resource block. and there is a little bit of sand around my tower base that needs to be removed.

lol go for it. Past my place is a huge beach area with a BIG lake. If we find lots of iron ASAP I can make it very easy and amusing to get to and from that area.

once i get the basement finished to my liking, im going to start digging towards the original safehouse. maybe link those together and start on some sort of huge tunnel system.

ill even put signs down there. for what path to take lol

Haha I've actually been stockpiling bones and have a ton to do just that. BTW did you cut down one of the trees on your tower? It looks like it grew two blocks and then was killed.

Oh and I found out that animals spawn on lit grass tiles. Apparently we can create some sort of socialist animal farm.

you know my tower is at the max height right? lol it cant go any higher so neither can the tree.

gonna work on another side level that will be for growing trees a little lower down below so we can still has a garden in the sky

Haha alright. Well the grass can still grow theoretically. All depends on the "light level" up there. Who knows what actually generates light in the game.

torches create a light level of 4
there are light blocks that create 12 which IIRC is the same as sunlight

you can also put lava in a bucket and use it as fuel in the "smelter" "stove" whatever you wanna call it. and it burns for 1000 seconds

Mhm, I'm aware of that, I was speaking more about the "sun" ingame. I've noticed that when the sunrises, the light increases in the direction of the sun, not away from.

Yes, I occasionally go back and plant a sapling there. When it grows up it catches fire

alright you fucking skanks! my tower is rebuilt after the terrorists attacked it while you guys were playing, also almost finished the second tower's staircase so you can go over to another area now, its just a little iffy near the bottom when you gotta jump to the tree lol. (i also found a HUGE cave that im going to go take for my own, i left a marker for it so i wouldnt lose it )

My basement is finally sealed off, going to be redoing a wall or 2 in cobblestone and doing it 3 layers thick and opening up another section of it so if anyone wants to come help your more than welcome to dig down in the basement the spiral staircase goes ALL the way down to it now.

while attempting to leave the safehouse a freaking terrorist jumped down and blew the front door off so beard it will need a new one. sealed it off with 2 dirt pieces so remove those to get in and put a new door up when you get a chance

P10 tower and the safehouse are linked by tunnel, i just need to go through and cobble stone the walls and roof then go on the outside and cover it with decoy dirt so if a terrorist attempts to blow it up he doesnt get to the tunnel. Oh and a few sections need to be widened for more than 1 person travel... gonna need some picks for that lol

oh and beard you would have laughed your ass off at seeing a tree kill me. i was giving it some of that bone fertilizer and BAAMMM! all my hearts disappear and i gotta respawn.

I think thats all that really happened in my few hours of play... got a lot done though. almost all of my large chest is dirt and cobblestone lol

lol yea if the tree grows some leaves into the space where your head is you suffocate.
