Aznjap's Jrsc progress thread
Well decided why not make a progress thread since my life basically revolves around the lude! Sorry but this is gonna be a pretty long first post!
Well I'll do a brief intro to my world of ludes. My first Lude was an auto with 100k miles. Came dropped with rims and a cheap black paint job.
After a year, sold it to pick up a standard. You guys might actially know the previous owner of this lude. His lude actually won POTM. His username was Kayo. Well he parted everything out on his lude and brought it back to bone stock with the exception of the ATTS emblem and jdm fogs.
The lude was in excellent condition. And seeing how the previous owner was the ex-president of the local prelude club, I knew the car was taken care of.
The first mods on the car was a greddy front lip and a neuspeed strut bar that I also picked up from the previous owner.
I installed a remote start alarm into my car a few days after picking up the car. A week later, the valet at my work place parks my car and leaves it in first gear with the ebrake down.
So as I was leaving work, I remote started my car and I heard a crash outside. I run outside to find that my car had started and sailed across the parking lot into the wall of the building :wzbigcry: Man was I pissed!
Well no pics, but bumper was pretty smashed and the greddy lip was cracked in half. Had the bumper repaired and repainted.
A few weeks later I picked up ap1 rims for $300.
Then had them painted gunmetal a few days later
Picked up ksport coilovers for pretty cheap and a skunk2 catback exhaust.
Well that greddy lip wasn't holding up too good so I found someone local selling a wwrs front lip for cheap and threw that on instead.
Well the new morimoto mini projectors came out, and with Shimee's nicley detailed write up, I decided to give it a try. So bought black depo headlights and the projectors.
After about 7 hours later, finally had em done and straight!
Finally saved up enough to get the rest of the lip kit.
Oh, and got a new licence plate
Alright thats enough for now. I'll post up the rest later!

Re: Aznjap's Jrsc progress thread
Got a 2.5" apexi N1 catback. Doesn't sound nearly as good as the skunk2, but I need the 2.5" exhaust for my set up.
Also threw on a hytech replica header. Had some problems with the crossmember. Had to cut a really big chunk out of it. More than everyone else had too. Oh wells, it works now
Got jdm visors. Gonna wet sand and make it shiney again. Not sure if I'm feeling it but we'll see if I keep it.
Just picked these babies up today
This just came in the mail today. PnP Boomslang harness gor the greddy emanage.
Well I guess I'll get to the sc pics.
Picked this up about a month ago. I'm pretty sure it's complete haha.
Then picked this up to go along. RC 440 injectors
Finally installed the spacers. Had 5mm spacers on the back, so I threw those onto the front.

Re: Aznjap's Jrsc progress thread
Picked up a cf hood!
Finally fully tuned.
Ending numbers: 215hp-194tq
A little dissapointed, was expecting at least 220hp and 200tq but oh wells. The tuner thinks my exhaust is creating a restriction, so I'm going to change it to a 3" mandrel bent catback soon.
Mods are:
JRSC
Hytech replica header
2.5" high flow cat
2.5" catback to apexi n1 muffler
aem sri
Tuned on emanage ultimate

Re: Aznjap's Jrsc progress thread
looks awesome man. How big of a difference was it going from Base to SH handling wise?
Re: Aznjap's Jrsc progress thread
Thanks. I dont know exactly, but I know the sh handles amazingly well. I never really had fun with the base since it was an auto.

Re: Aznjap's Jrsc progress thread
Haha thanks! And yes it's the most beautiful sound ever lol. Too bad my exhaust is so damn loud you can barely hear it. Im going to be changing my exhaust soon to quiet it down so I can hear it better.

Re: Aznjap's Jrsc progress thread
You should send out the JRSC to be ported, espeiclaly the elbow on it is a huge restriction. Then uprgade the pulley and retune. Im sure you will be happy with it then. Also Id consider adding a heatshield intake gasket since the JRSC is a gigantic heat sink and I bet your intake temps are off the chart

Re: Aznjap's Jrsc progress thread
no not ceramic coated he would want the heat dissipation coating. although the best one comes in a tanish color unknown has a black that isnt as good as the tanish but would still lower the temps.

Re: Aznjap's Jrsc progress thread
Forget coating, buy a shit ton of heat sinks and apply them with arctic silver thermal grease

Re: Aznjap's Jrsc progress thread
I would get it ported but idk if I wanna bring it back to stock to wait for it to ship out and back. lol maybe when I take it off the next time. And I know I couldeasily suprass the 220hp mark with the upgraded pulley, but I was hoping on hitting the 220 mark on the stock pulley so when I do upgrade the pulley, I would hit 250.
Hmm there's a coating I could put on the intake to lower temps? I'll seriously look into that.

Re: Aznjap's Jrsc progress thread
Hmm intresting, it actually looks pretty good. How well does it perform though? And this might be a dumb question, but can you paint that coating? lol
Just got my calipers back from the shop. Not sure if I like the blue, what do you guys think? Btw, my car is black with gunmetal ap1's. And my vc and intake is gonna be blue soon too.
Also installed these today

Haha yeah man, jrsc is the way to go!
Ohh didn't realize that, I'll try get up engine bay shots tonight or something.
Havent been updating this post well,
Relocated battery to the trunk (no pics yet).
Got my 3" exhaust to a vibrant flat black muffler. It has a vibrant ultra quiet resonator where the cat used to be. And another reg resonator. I'll get a vid up tomorrow or something.
And the difference between 2.5" exhaust and a cat delete with 3" exhaust.
